Mahaveer Engg Works

Mahaveer Engg Works is out at No- D-40 in the Phase- 4 Extension of the Ida in Jeedimetla. This is a very industrial part of the city. You will not find many trees around here, just rows of sheds and the sound of heavy work. Our unit is one of the older ones in this section. We have a big metal shutter that stays open all day to let the air move through. Inside, there are lathes and welding equipment taking up most of the floor space. It is usually quite loud, so we have to speak up to hear each other. We spend our days working on different metal pieces and parts that local companies need. The floor is concrete and always has some oil patches no matter how much we clean. We have a small corner for tea and water where the staff takes their breaks. Jeedimetla can get very dusty, and by the end of the shift, we are usually covered in it. We are not a corporate office with air conditioning. It is a hands-on environment where things actually get made. The guys have been working here for years and they know the machines inside out. We do not use fancy software to track things, just a big notebook on the desk. People find us because they know the address and they know we have been here a long time. It is basic, honest work.
