Maharaja Carpets

People usually find us here at the Mch Complex on S P Road without much trouble. We've been at unit number 6 for a long time now. The place is mostly filled with carpets stacked high, and there’s always that faint smell of wool in the air. Most mornings start with moving things around so people can actually walk through the aisles. It gets a bit crowded when a few families come in at once, but we manage. My hands are usually a bit rough from handling the heavy rugs all day. We don't really have a fancy showroom with bright lights. It’s more of a practical space where we keep our stock. Sometimes the fans make a bit of noise, but nobody seems to mind much when they're looking at patterns. We spend a lot of time just unrolling things and rolling them back up. It’s hard work on the back, I’ll say that. The traffic outside on S P Road can be loud, especially in the afternoons. We just keep the doors open and get on with it. There’s always some tea going if a regular drops by. It isn't anything special to look at from the outside, just a shop doing its business day after day. We know where everything is, even if it looks like a mess to someone else. That’s just how we operate here.
