You can find Mahajans Furnishing at 62 Navaketan Complex. We are on the lower ground floor, right opposite the old Clock Tower on S D Road. That clock tower is a big landmark, so most people don’t have a hard time finding us once they get to the area. We’ve been in the furnishing business for quite a while. Our shop is a bit below the street level, so it stays a little cooler in the summer. We have a lot of curtains, upholstery, and fabrics for the home. It’s not a huge, wide-open space; it’s more like a series of aisles filled with rolls of cloth. Sometimes it gets a bit messy when we are showing different samples to customers, but we try to tidy up before the next person comes in. We aren't interior designers with fancy titles; we just know what looks good and what lasts. Most of our customers are families from nearby who are looking to freshen up their living rooms. We don't have a big marketing budget. We just rely on being in a good spot and treating people fairly. S D Road is always busy, so there’s always something happening outside our window. We like the buzz of the city, but we also like the quiet work of measuring and cutting fabric for someone’s new home. It keeps us busy enough throughout the week.
