We are based at No-3-3-380 on Subhash Road, and if you are looking for us, we are right near the Mahakali Police Station. Having the police station so close makes the area feel a bit different, but it is still a typical busy street full of shops. Our agency deals with textiles, so the place is usually packed with big bundles of cloth and fabric samples hanging from the walls. It is not the most organized-looking office because new shipments are always arriving and others are being packed up to go out. We spend a lot of time on the phone talking to mills and customers, trying to coordinate delivery dates and prices. The building is older, so the ceilings are high and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we are too busy to worry about that. We have some heavy wooden tables where we spread out the fabric to show people the quality and the patterns. Sometimes it gets a bit dusty from all the loose threads and lint, but we just sweep it out at the end of the day. Subhash Road is always full of people, so there is never a quiet moment outside. We just keep the fans running and work through the stacks of orders that pile up on our desks every morning without making a big fuss about it.
