Lucky Dresses

Lucky Dresses is right on Karwan Main Road. We are near Toli Masjid in Karwan Sahu. It’s a historic part of Hyderabad 500006. The shop has been around for a while. We sell dresses for all sorts of occasions. Most of it is just ready-to-wear stuff. We have racks and racks of clothes. Sometimes it's a bit overwhelming to look at it all. The area is always buzzing with activity. You can hear the prayers from the masjid nearby. We have a lot of locals who come to us for their family's needs. We keep the prices where people can afford them. It’s not a boutique with mirrors and fancy lights. We just have basic bulbs and a few fans. The floor is old stone. We spend our days folding and unfolding clothes for customers. Sometimes the kids run around while their mothers shop. We don't mind. It feels like home. We are just regular people running a dress shop. We don't have a marketing team. We just open the shutters in the morning and wait for people to come in. The Karwan road is always busy so there’s always something to see outside. It’s a good place to be. We just keep going day by day. We have some regular helpers who have been with us for years. They know the stock as well as I do. We talk about the weather and the news while we work. It's a simple routine. It works for us.
