Laxmi Gems And Jewels Private Limited is our shop. Our place is at 2, Satyanarayan Temple Road. It’s a very specific location because of the temple. Everyone around here knows the road. We handle gems and jewels. It’s a pretty simple operation we have going. The shop is small and we don’t have a lot of employees. Most days, it’s just the same few of us. We spend our time looking at stones and keeping the records updated. There isn't any fancy decor or anything like that. We just have the jewelry in the cases. The road can get quite busy, especially on festival days when people are headed to the temple. We get a lot of foot traffic then. We don't do any big marketing campaigns. We just stay in our spot and do the work. It’s a lot of repetitive tasks, like cleaning the glass and checking the stock, but it’s what we do. We like being on Satyanarayan Temple Road. It feels like a good community to be in. The gems we have are varied, and we just show them to whoever is interested. There’s no big corporate strategy here. We just buy and sell jewels and gems. It’s a local business, plain and simple. We’ve been at number 2 for a long time and we don’t plan on going anywhere. It's just a regular shop with regular people working inside it.
