Our shop, Unique Pioneer Gems And Jewellery, is located over at Matru Chayya, specifically 21-7-523/4/1 in the Shakkar Kota area. If you know Charkama Shakkar, you know it can get pretty crowded around here with people and commerce. We’ve grown used to the constant sounds of the street outside. Every morning we unlock the doors and start the day. The space isn't huge, but it fits what we need to get the job done. We spend most of our time looking at stones and pieces, checking things over carefully. It’s steady work. Some days are slower than others, but there’s always something to clean or organize in the back. The address is a bit of a mouthful, but people seem to find us okay once they get into the neighborhood. We don't have a big corporate team or anyone telling us what to do. It’s just us here. We see the same delivery guys and the same people walking to work every day. The walls of Matru Chayya have seen a lot of seasons come and go. We try to keep things simple. No big speeches or fancy promises, just the work we do with the gems and the jewellery. Sometimes the air gets a bit dusty from the road, but that’s just part of being in this part of town. We stay busy with the small details. It's a living. We’ve been part of this little corner for some time now and we just keep on going, one day at a time, right here in Shakkar Kota.
