Our office is located at 218 (A) inside the Down Town Mall in Khairatabad. It’s a small room with a couple of desks and a lot of blue file folders. We spend most of our time on the phone or typing out emails to different offices around the world. There are usually a few people sitting in the plastic chairs outside the door waiting to talk to us about their plans. It can get a bit hectic in the afternoons when multiple people show up at the same time. The mall is always busy, so there’s a lot of noise coming from the people walking by in the hallways. We have some maps on the walls and a lot of brochures about different countries and schools. It’s a lot of reading through long forms and making sure all the boxes are checked correctly. We don't have any fancy decorations; it's mostly just practical furniture we've had for a while. Sometimes the internet goes slow and we have to wait for the pages to load while the person across the desk waits. We aren't a big agency with hundreds of staff members. It’s just a few of us who know how the paperwork works. We've seen a lot of different people come through our door. We try to be honest about how long the process takes. Lunch is usually whatever we grab quickly.
