Annapurna Engineers

We are over at Plot No 229 in Paparayudu Nagar. This is in the Balanagar part of Kukatpally. Annapurna Engineers is basically a workshop where we handle a lot of different metal and mechanical jobs. The place is full of tools, scraps, and bits of machinery. It’s not the cleanest environment but that’s engineering for you. There is always the sound of grinding or welding going on. We wear our old clothes because they just get covered in grease anyway. People bring us things to fix or ask us to make specific parts. We’ve been in Balanagar for quite a while now. The area is very industrial so we fit right in. We have a small office corner but we spend most of our time out on the floor. It’s hot work, especially in the summer months. We have a few heavy machines that take up most of the space. We have to be careful moving around. We don't really do any big marketing. Most of our work comes from other shops nearby or people who have known us for years. It’s a steady life. We show up, do the work, and go home. Every day brings a different challenge depending on what someone brings through the door. We just try to figure it out and get it done right. It is noisy and dirty work. We are just regular folks working with our hands.
