We’ve been at Plot No 34 in the industrial estate here in Prashantinagar for a while now. Most mornings start the same way, unlocking the heavy gates and getting the machines warmed up before the sun gets too high. It gets pretty loud once everything is running, but that’s just how it is when you’re doing engineering work. We aren't a big fancy office with carpets. It's a workshop floor where things actually get made. You’ll usually find us covered in a bit of oil or dust by midday. People around here know where we are, right in the middle of the estate. We don't spend much time on the computer unless we have to. Most of the day is spent handling tools and making sure the parts we're working on come out the way they're supposed to. Sometimes it’s a bit chaotic with deliveries coming in and out, but we manage to keep things moving. There’s always a stray dog or two hanging around the entrance, and the tea stall nearby is where we usually end up during the breaks. We don't have a big sales team or anything like that. It's just a few of us here making sure the jobs get finished. If you walk down the lane in Prashantinagar, you’ll hear the clinking of metal from our plot. It isn't glamorous work, but it’s what we do every day.
