Kiran Plastics

Our place, Kiran Plastics, is located at Dr.No.15-8-353/4/5 in the Feelkhana area of Begum Bazar. If you know the market, you know it can get incredibly crowded. The streets are narrow and there’s always a rickshaw or a cart blocking the way, but that’s the charm of this part of town. We’ve been operating out of this address for years. It’s a narrow building, and we use every inch of space for storage. We mostly sell plastic household items and packaging materials. It gets very hot in the afternoons, so we keep a couple of old fans running, though they mostly just move the warm air around. We aren't the type to put on suits or give big presentations. Usually, I’m wearing a plain shirt with the sleeves rolled up, helping load bags for a customer. We have a small staff, just a few local guys who know the inventory as well as I do. We’ve seen a lot of businesses come and go in Begum Bazar, but we’ve managed to stick around by just being consistent. We don’t have a fancy mission statement or a corporate vision. We just want to make sure that when someone comes in looking for a specific bucket or a roll of plastic, we have it ready for them at a price that makes sense.
