We are the Kerala State Coir Corp Ltd, based in B-12 Mayur Kushal Complex in Abids. It’s a solid location in a part of town that’s seen a lot of history. Our space is filled with coir mats, rugs, and all sorts of things made from coconut fiber. It has that specific earthy smell which we quite like. The Mayur Kushal Complex is a bit of a maze if you’re new, but once you find B-12, you’ll see us there. We aren't a private shop in the usual sense, but the people working here are all locals who care about the products. We don't do much in the way of fancy displays. We just stack the rolls of coir along the walls. It’s very practical. People come to us when they need something durable for their homes or offices. Abids is always bustling, and we get a lot of foot traffic from people just curious about what we have. We keep regular hours. It’s not the most modern office in the world, but it serves its purpose. We deal with a lot of government paperwork alongside the sales, so there’s always something to do. We don't have a big sales pitch. The coir speaks for itself because it's strong and lasts a long time. If you happen to be in Abids, you can just stop by and see what’s in stock. We are usually here till five or six depending on the day's work.
