Kashi Memorial Public School

If you know Kukatpally, you probably know how busy Pipeline Road can get. That is where we are located, specifically at Plot No 72. It is a bit of a maze back here with all the house numbers and plots, but once you find 2-22-152/2, you are at the right place. This school was started as a memorial and we have been operating out of this building for quite some years. It’s a typical public school setting for this part of Hyderabad. The area has changed so much since we first opened. There used to be a lot more empty space, but now everything is built up around us. We have kids from all over the Kukatpally area coming here. The building itself is functional. We have the usual classrooms and a small area for the kids to hang out during their breaks. It is not a silent place; the sounds of the city and the nearby traffic are always there. But it’s home for us. The teachers here are mostly locals who understand the neighborhood. We don’t have fancy elevators or glass walls. It’s just brick and mortar and desks. Most people find out about us through word of mouth from other parents living nearby. It gets a bit dusty with the road work that often happens on Pipeline Road, but we keep the inside as clean as we can. It’s a humble place where kids come to learn their basics every single day without any fuss.
