Kamat Lingapur Hotel

We’ve been here in Begumpet for quite a few years now. The building is on Mayurmarg, right at 1-10-104/57. It’s a busy part of town, so there is always a lot of traffic and people walking by. Our days usually start pretty early with the morning tea and people checking out to catch their flights or get to meetings. It isn’t a very complicated operation. We have rooms, we have a kitchen, and we have staff who have been with us a long time. Some of the paint might be a bit old in spots, but we keep the sheets clean and the water running. People choose us because they know what they’re getting. It’s a place to sleep and have a meal without too much fuss. We don’t have those big fancy lobbies with waterfalls or anything like that. It’s just a hotel. Sometimes the elevator is a bit slow when everyone is using it at once, but it gets the job done. We spend a lot of time just making sure the daily stuff is handled, like laundry and fixing any leaky taps that pop up. The neighborhood has changed a lot since we started, with new shops and buildings coming up all around us. But we just keep doing what we do every day. If you need a room in this part of Hyderabad, we are here and the door is usually open for whoever stops by.
