Kakatiya Sheraton & Towers

We are located within the ITC Kakatiya Sheraton Towers in Begumpet, specifically operating out of the Chef’s Office area. Begumpet is one of those parts of Hyderabad that never seems to sleep. There is always traffic on the main road and something happening at the nearby airport area. While the hotel itself is a big, impressive building that everyone recognizes, our corner of it is much more down-to-earth. The Chef’s Office is where the real work happens behind the scenes. It is where we manage the supplies, the menus, and the dozens of things that need to happen before a single plate of food reaches a table. It is not glamorous work. There are stacks of invoices, phone calls to vendors at five in the morning, and the constant hum of the industrial kitchens nearby. We are a team of people who actually enjoy the chaos of a professional kitchen environment. We do not talk much about excellence or use big words to describe what we do. We just make sure the ingredients are fresh and the staff knows their tasks for the day. It is a high-pressure environment, but we have a rhythm that works for us. Most of us have been in this industry for years and we do not see ourselves doing anything else. It is hard work, it is sweaty, and it is loud, but it is honest work that keeps the hotel running every single day.
