K. G. N. Engineers

K. G. N. Engineers is situated on Plot No. 174 & 175 along the Old Airport Road in Gowtham Nagar. It is a busy stretch of road, and we are right opposite the masjid lane, so the calls to prayer are a regular part of our daily rhythm. Being on Old Airport Road means we deal with a lot of traffic noise and the constant movement of people heading towards the center of Bangalore. Our plots are filled with the sorts of things you’d expect at an engineering spot—lots of metal, some grease, and various pieces of machinery waiting for attention. It’s not the cleanest environment, but that is because work is actually happening here. We have two plots, so there is a bit more room than some of our neighbors, but we still manage to fill it up with parts and equipment. The workers are usually busy with their tools, and there is a lot of clanging and the sound of engines being tested. The office part is just a small space where we keep the books and take calls, and it’s usually got a layer of fine dust on everything despite our best efforts. We don't bother with fancy signs or marketing stuff; the name is on the gate and people who need us usually know where to find us. It’s a long day from start to finish, but that’s just the way it goes when you’re running an engineering outfit in Gowtham Nagar.
