About Jubilee Hills Public School – Education in Hyderabad
Jubilee Hills Public School is at number 71 in Jawahar Colony. It’s a busy spot. The traffic around Jubilee Hills can be a real headache in the morning when parents are dropping their kids off. The building itself is a solid block, nothing too modern, but it does the job. We have a lot of rooms and they all look pretty much the same with green chalkboards and rows of wooden chairs. The sun hits the front of the building hard in the summer, so the curtains are always drawn to keep the heat out. We don’t have a big fancy office for visitors. Usually, you just find the principal sitting in a room with a lot of folders stacked up on the desk. The staff room is always a bit of a mess with tea cups and half-graded papers everywhere. We don’t spend much time worrying about how things look as long as the bells ring on time and the kids are in their seats. There is a small patch of grass out front but it’s mostly dirt because of all the feet running over it. It’s just a regular school in a busy part of town. Sometimes the neighbors complain about the noise when the kids are out for recess, but that’s just how it is. We try to keep things simple and just get through the school year without too much trouble. It’s a plain place for learning and we stay busy with the day to day.
