Jasmine High School

Jasmine High School is over at 41/A near the A G Colony and Rajivnagar Colony in Yousuf Guda. It is tucked into the neighborhood where a lot of families live. The school day starts pretty early when the parents start dropping off their kids at the gate. You can hear the children playing and shouting even before the first bell rings. The building is a few stories high and we use every bit of space we have. We have small classrooms for the younger kids and bigger ones for the older students. The walls have some drawings on them from past projects. We do not have a massive playground but the kids make do with the space we have out front. The teachers live nearby and they usually walk or take a short ride to get here. It feels like a neighborhood school because it is right in the middle of where people live. We keep a desk at the entrance for visitors to sign in. The noise of the city is always there in the background but once you are inside the classrooms it feels a bit more focused. We have been here in Yousuf Guda for a long time. We see siblings follow each other through the grades. It is just a regular school where we try to keep things organized and get through the lessons each day. It is a busy but simple place to work for all of us.
