Ista Hotels

We are over here in Brindavan Colony, specifically at 1-8-725/B5/1. It’s a busy part of Nallakunta, which most people around Hyderabad know well. The building isn't huge but we try to keep things organized. I’ve been working here for a while now. Most days start early with checking the rooms and making sure the lobby is clean before anyone walks in. There’s a lot of traffic on the main road outside, but inside it stays pretty quiet. We have a few staff members who live nearby and walk to work. We don't really do fancy brochures. Usually, people find us because they need a place to stay while visiting family in the colony or doing business in this part of town. Sometimes the elevator acts up, but we get it fixed pretty quick. The walls are painted a standard off-white and we have some plants in the corner that I try to water every other day. It’s just a regular hotel setup. We spend a lot of time on the phone or sitting behind the front desk. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s steady. Most of the furniture has been here for years, but it’s sturdy. We know the neighbors at the nearby shops. If you walk out the front door and take a left, there are some good places to grab a quick tea. That’s pretty much how things go here at Ista. We just keep the doors open and do the work.
