Ista Five Star Hotel (Bangalore)

It’s a bit of a funny thing because the name says Ista Five Star Hotel (Bangalore), but our office is actually in Secunderabad. We’re located at RH Enclave, on the 3rd floor, Room 201. The address is 6-2-110/2 in New Bhoiguda. V. Sreehari is the one who keeps everything running here. The building is one of those typical multi-story blocks where you have different businesses on every floor. The stairs are a bit narrow, so most people use the lift, which sometimes has a mind of its own. In our office, it’s mostly about managing the behind-the-scenes work for the hotel. We’ve got computers, some printers that jam occasionally, and a lot of ledgers. Secunderabad can get incredibly humid, so we usually have the fans going at full speed. Outside, the traffic in New Bhoiguda is a constant stream of noise, especially being so close to the main transport hubs. We don’t have fancy uniforms here in the office, just regular clothes and a lot of work to get through. Sometimes people call us thinking they’re calling the hotel front desk in Bangalore, and we have to explain that we’re the administrative side in a different city. It’s a busy little spot, and the desk is always covered in notes and messages. We’ve been in this enclave for a while now, just doing our part to keep the bigger operation moving.
