Our place, Sri Sudarsan Gases Pvt. Ltd., is located at Plot No 40/A in Phase I of the Ida Jeedimetla area. This part of Jeedimetla is always humming with some kind of machine noise or trucks passing through. We work with different types of gases, so we have a lot of cylinders lined up inside and outside. It’s a very practical environment. We don’t go for anything polished; the walls have some marks and the floors are meant for heavy lifting and moving things. We start early because the heat in Phase I can get pretty bad by noon. Dealing with gas cylinders means we have to be steady and not rush things too much. The traffic on the way into Jeedimetla is a bit of a nightmare sometimes, especially in the mornings, but we managed to make it work. Most of our day is spent loading things or checking the valves on the tanks. It is a small team here, and everyone knows what they are supposed to do. We don’t really have a big sign, just enough for people to find us when they are looking for the plot. It’s honest work, and it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. We’ve seen other shops come and go in this industrial area, but we just stay focused on our cylinders and the daily deliveries. It’s a lot of work but it’s what we do. It’s just a regular gas business.
