Hyd Fish Suppliers is located right in the heart of Panjagutta. We’ve been operating from this spot for quite a while now, and if you know this area, you know how busy the roads get. We start the day pretty early around here, usually before the sun is even up, because that is when the fresh stock arrives. We spend the first few hours of the morning just unloading crates and getting everything onto the ice. It is a lot of heavy lifting and the floors are almost always wet. The smell of the fish is something you just get used to after the first week or so. We have some regular customers from the local restaurants who come by to pick out what they need for the day. Then there are the neighborhood people who want something specific for their dinner. We don't have a fancy showroom or anything like that. It is just a practical space with tanks and weighing scales. Sometimes the deliveries are late because of the traffic in Panjagutta, which can be a real headache. My brother and a couple of helpers are usually here throughout the day. We don't bother with any big ads or anything like that. Most people find us because they walk past the shop or someone told them we have what they need. We spend a lot of time cleaning up at the end of the day, which is the least fun part. It is just a basic local business, nothing more than that.
