Huda Book Distributors

We are located at Office No. 455 in the Purani Haveli area. It’s an old part of the city, and you can feel the history in the walls of the buildings here. Huda Book Distributors isn't a retail shop where you browse the aisles; it’s more of a hub where we move books from one place to another. The rooms are high-ceilinged and a bit dim, which actually helps keep the books in good condition. We deal with a lot of different titles, and they come in heavy crates that we have to haul in and out. The lanes around here are narrow, so getting deliveries can be a bit of a headache sometimes. You have to time it right or the traffic gets stuck. We’ve got a small team, and everyone knows their job. There’s no boss in a suit telling people what to do. We just get the orders ready and make sure they go to the right address. Sometimes we find a book that’s been sitting in the back for years and it’s like finding a little piece of the past. We don't have a website that’s updated every minute. Most of our business is done through old-fashioned phone calls and people we’ve known for years. It’s a simple way to work, and it keeps us connected to the community here. It’s dusty and busy, but we like the pace of life in this neighborhood.
