Hotelica

You can find Hotelica at Plot 904, in Flat 402 of the Ayyappa Society building in Madhapur. Being in Madhapur means we are right in the middle of all the IT action in Hyderabad, but Ayyappa Society has its own specific vibe. It’s a mix of homes and small offices, so it feels a bit more personal than a giant glass tower. Our office is essentially an apartment that we’ve converted into a workspace. It makes the whole environment feel a bit more like home. We have a small balcony where we keep a few chairs for when we need to step out and take a phone call or just look at the traffic below. Inside, the rooms are filled with desks and whiteboards where we scribble down our notes and plans. The kitchen is still there, which is great because we can actually cook a little something or at least make a decent pot of coffee whenever we want. We don’t have a big sign downstairs, so people sometimes have to call us to find the right floor. It’s a comfortable way to work. We aren't big on formal dress codes or strict rules about where you sit. As long as the work gets done and we stay on top of our emails, everyone is happy. We’ve been in this flat for a while now, and the neighbors are all used to us coming and going at odd hours. It’s just us doing our thing in a quiet corner of a busy city.
