Hotel Katriya

We run Hotel Katriya, but our admin spot is actually at Flat No301 in Sai Sujatha Apartments. This is over in West Marredpally. Secunderabad has its own vibe, and we like being tucked away in a residential building like this. It’s quieter than being right on a main road. We handle the hotel business from this small apartment. There are usually three or four of us here at any time. We’ve got stacks of ledgers and some computers that have seen better days. It's not a showroom. It’s just where the real work happens behind the scenes. Sometimes the neighbors in the apartment block stop by to say hello. We’ve been here long enough that everyone knows who we are. We don't have a big lobby or a front desk in this office. Just a few rooms filled with desks and chairs. We try to keep things organized but it gets messy when we're busy. The 500026 area code is home for us. We deal with the day-to-day stuff for the hotel, like talking to suppliers and checking on staff. It's a lot of phone calls. We don't have a fancy coffee machine, just a kettle in the corner. It's a practical way to run a business without spending money on things we don't need. We just focus on keeping the hotel running smoothly from this little flat.
