Gurukula Vidyapeeth High School

Gurukula Vidyapeeth High School is out in Ibrahimpatnam, which is part of the R R District. It’s a bit away from the main city, so the surroundings are a little more open. The school building is a standard structure with several classrooms that have been around for quite some time. The walls are a bit plain, and the wooden benches in the rooms are well-worn. Every morning, students from the local villages arrive, some walking and others coming on the school bus. We have a large open ground where we do the morning assembly and where the kids play during their breaks. It can get a bit dusty when it hasn't rained in a while. The teachers are mostly local people who have a good connection with the families here. We don't have any complex technology; we just use our books and the blackboards for the lessons. It’s a very traditional setting. Sometimes you can hear birds or see farm animals nearby since it’s a semi-rural area. The office is small and usually filled with registers and stacks of papers. It’s a very straightforward place without any extra frills. We focus on getting through the syllabus and making sure the kids are ready for their high school exams. Life here is simple and follows a regular pattern day after day. It’s a community school that has been serving this part of the district for many years.
