Gowtham Model School

Our Gowtham Model School is tucked away in the Svr Tours & Travels Lane, right in the middle of the busy Ameerpet area in Hyderabad. If you know Ameerpet, you know how crowded and fast-paced it is. Our school is right in the thick of it. We occupy a building at Door No 8-3-944/2/1, and while it might not look like much from the outside, there is a lot going on inside. We have students coming from all the nearby blocks. Because of the location, space is a bit tight, but we’ve organized the classrooms to fit everyone in comfortably enough. The sounds of the city are always there in the background, but the kids are used to it by now. We don’t have a huge playground, so we have to be creative with how the kids spend their breaks. The teachers here are used to the urban hustle. They come in every morning, deal with the traffic, and get straight to teaching. It’s a practical place. We don’t spend money on fancy decorations or big billboards. We’d rather just keep the lights on and the books replaced when they get worn out. Most of our parents are working people from around Hyderabad who just want a steady place for their kids. We provide that. It’s a bit noisy, a bit cramped, but it’s our school.
