Gowtham English Medium School

Gowtham English Medium School is located at Door No 1-11/6B/1 in Choutuppal, which is part of the Nalgonda district. It’s right there on the edge of the town where things are a little quieter than the main market area. The school has a sturdy look to it, with a big gate and a front yard that gets quite a lot of sun during the day. We have several classrooms lined up along a long corridor where the air circulates pretty well. The furniture is mostly made of wood and metal, and it’s seen a lot of use over the seasons. We have a small library corner with a few shelves of stories and textbooks that the children can borrow. Most of our staff are from right here in Choutuppal or the villages nearby, so there is a real sense of community in the building. We don’t go in for anything flashy or expensive; we just try to keep the place clean and ready for the kids every morning. During the rainy season, we have to watch out for puddles in the yard, but the kids don’t seem to mind much. Lunchtime is the loudest part of the day when everyone gathers to eat and talk about their morning. It’s a straightforward place to work and study, and we take things one day at a time. The local families know us as a regular part of the area where their children can spend their day safely.
