Sri Rama Publications is over in Hindi Nagar. Our address is 5 5 970, and it’s a place filled with stacks of paper and books. We’ve been in this neighborhood for a good while. The work here is mostly about getting things printed and sent out. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we know. Hindi Nagar is a place we’ve grown used to over the years. We see the same faces every day. Our office is often cluttered with proofs and old manuscripts, which is typical for a publishing house. We don’t have any fancy signs or modern decor. It’s just a working space with desks and printers. Sometimes the machines act up, and we have to spend the morning fixing them. We do a lot of the packing ourselves. It’s a small operation, really. Just a few people making sure the words get onto the pages correctly. We don’t spend money on big ads. Most people find out about us by word of mouth or by just walking past our door. We like being part of the community here. The days are usually long, especially when we have a big print run to finish. But we get it done. It's a simple life of ink and paper. We’ve stayed at this same spot because it feels like home now. We've been printing books here for years and we know the trade well.
