Global Model School

We are located in Deenabhandu Colony, right over in the Jagthgiri Gutta area of Kukatpally. It is a very busy residential neighborhood with lots of small houses and local shops all around us. Global Model School is a local place where the parents in the colony send their children for their daily school lessons. The building is a few stories high and we have to use every bit of the space we have available. It can feel a bit cramped in the hallways when everyone is changing their classes at the same time, but we make it work. We have a small paved area out front where all the students gather every morning for the assembly and prayers. It is usually quite loud in the mornings when the auto-rickshaws and bikes are dropping the kids off at the gate. Most of our teachers live right here in Kukatpally or very close by, so they know the families and the community well. We do not have a massive campus with huge green fields, but we focus on the textbooks and getting the yearly syllabus finished on time. The desks are a bit worn down from years of use and the hallways are narrow, but it is a functional and honest space for learning. We’ve been here for a good while and have watched the whole neighborhood grow up and change around us. It is just a standard school serving the families who live nearby.
