This location at 6-1-1070/1 To 4 in Lakdika Pool is right in the heart of everything. If you know the area, you know how hectic it gets. The hospital is a busy spot. We’ve got several units running here, and there’s always a flow of people coming up the stairs or waiting by the pharmacy. It’s a bit of an old-school setup. We still use a lot of paper files, and you can see them stacked up behind the reception. It feels like a real place, not some sterile lab. The nurses are usually the ones running the show, making sure the patients are where they need to be. We have some long-time staff who have been here since the beginning, and they know the building like the back of their hand. The noise from the street is constant, but you stop noticing it after a few weeks. We get patients from all walks of life. Some are quite poor, others are better off, but everyone gets treated the same way when they walk through the door. We don't have any fancy mission statements on the walls. We just have schedules and charts. It’s practical work. Sometimes the pipes leak or the lights flicker, and we just call the maintenance guy and keep moving. It’s just how we operate here in Lakdika Pool. The chai man comes around twice a day, and that’s usually the highlight for most of us.
