We’ve been at this spot in Ligampally for a while now, right next to the Adarsa Dress Palace. It’s a busy area but we like it here okay. Mostly, we deal with maps and satellite data. People come in looking for specific details about land or technical survey work. It’s not the most exciting thing for everyone, but it’s what we do every day. The office is usually filled with old charts and computer screens. We spend a lot of time checking coordinates and making sure the digital files match up with the actual ground. It’s a bit of a government feel here because we're part of the Survey of India. Sometimes the paperwork takes a bit of time, and the building gets a bit warm in the afternoons. Most of the staff has been here for years, so we know the routines pretty well. We don't have fancy brochures or anything like that. If you need a map or some GIS info, you just show up at the gate and ask. It's practical work. We keep track of the changes in the landscape as best as we can.
