Gandhian High Schol

We are situated on Shanker Veedhi in the Picket area. It is a well-known spot for those who have lived around here for a long time. The school building is quite old and has a lot of history to it, though it’s just a regular place for the kids to come and learn. We don't have a lot of bells and whistles here. There are classrooms, a small area for assembly, and an office where we keep all the paperwork. The street outside can be a bit narrow, so it gets tight when the school buses are trying to move through. Our teachers are mostly people who have been with us for many years, so they know the rhythm of the place. We focus on the basics of the high school curriculum. The desks are a bit scratched and the walls are covered with student work and charts. It’s a very practical environment. We don’t spend money on fancy decorations; we just make sure the roof doesn’t leak and the fans keep working during the summer. Some of the windows are a bit stiff to open, but we manage. Life here is mostly about the daily routine of classes, lunch breaks, and the occasional school event. It’s a humble place, and we like it that way. Most of our students come from the surrounding streets in Picket, so it really feels like a neighborhood school where everyone knows each other.
