Fashion Lady

You can find us over at Shop No 16-2-752/21/17 in the Triveni Nagar Colony area. Fashion Lady has been part of Gaddi Annaram for a while now. We mostly spend our time looking at the latest sets and pieces that come in. The shop is tucked into the colony, so it is a little different from the big main road noise, but it still gets plenty of foot traffic. We start the morning by pulling back the shutters and making sure the displays look okay. Sometimes the mannequins get a bit tilted and we have to straighten them out. It is mostly clothes for women here, so we see a lot of people coming in for matching outfits or just something new for a party. The space is a bit tight when we have more than four or five people inside at once. We usually have a radio playing somewhere in the back. It helps pass the time when it is slow. Sorting through the different colors and sizes is the main job. It is funny how everyone wants the same shade of blue one week and then nobody wants it the next. We just keep the shelves filled and talk to the regulars who live nearby. It is a decent way to spend the day in Hyderabad. We like being in this part of town because it feels like a real community.
