Fashion Gift Novelties

Our shop, Fashion Gift Novelties, sits right on the Dilsukhnagar road. It is a very busy stretch of Hyderabad. We have been here at this location for some time, surrounded by all the other stores and the constant flow of people. Working here means you see a bit of everything. We handle a lot of small gift items and novelties. Most of our time is spent dusting the shelves because the road outside kicks up a lot of grit. We have shelves filled with little things that people pick up for birthdays or just for fun. It is a bit of a maze inside because we try to fit so many different items into the space. Sometimes we lose track of where a specific toy or frame is hidden. The morning is usually when we restock the things that sold the day before. We do not have a big fancy system; we just look at what is missing and put something else there. It is nice when someone finds exactly what they were looking for without even knowing they wanted it. The evenings are the loudest because of the buses and the horns right outside the door. We usually stand near the entrance for some fresh air when the shop is empty. It is a simple life, just running a small shop on a busy road and helping people find little gifts that they need.
