Durga Plastics

Our shop, Durga Plastics, is located at 2-2-1164 on Tilak Road in Nallakunta. It’s a fairly busy area of the city with a mix of houses and other small businesses around us. We deal in all kinds of plastic goods, from household containers to items used in small shops. The store itself is pretty packed. We have stuff stacked up to the ceiling in some places, and it can be a bit of a maze to find exactly what a customer wants. I’ve been running this place for several years now. It’s just me and one helper most of the time. We don't have any fancy computers or a big office area. We just have a small desk where I keep my ledger and a calculator. The traffic on Tilak Road can be quite bad in the evenings, making it hard for delivery trucks to get to us. We’ve had to deal with leaks in the roof during the monsoon and the heat during the summer, but we stay open regardless. We don't have a mission statement or anything like that. We just try to keep the right things in stock so when a neighbor walks in, we have what they need. It’s a simple, honest business. We know our regulars and they know us. We just keep going one day at a time, making sure the shelves are full and the floor is swept as much as it can be.
