We are over in the Shanker Lal Building at 4-1-969/1-2 B. Most people know the area because we are right opposite the Santosh Sapna Cinema Hall in Abids. It’s a well-known part of town, though it can get quite loud on the weekends when the movies are playing. Our shop isn't huge, but we pack a lot into the space we have. You’ll find rolls of fabric and various samples leaning against the walls most days. We try to keep things in some kind of order, but when it gets busy, things tend to get piled up on the counters. We aren't really fancy people. We just know a lot about what we sell because we’ve been doing it for years. The building is a bit older, so the floors have some scuffs and the doors might creak when you open them. We don't mind it much. It feels like home to us. Customers come in looking for things to fix up their rooms, and we just show them what’s available in the back or on the racks. It’s a practical shop. We don't spend money on big displays or bright neon signs. We just open up in the morning and wait for whoever comes through the door. Usually, it’s people from the neighborhood or someone who was already coming to the cinema. It’s a steady pace, and we like the routine of being here in Abids.
