Divine Spirit Events

Divine Spirit Events is based out of Tarnaka. We don’t have a big flashy office to show off because most of our work happens on the ground at different venues across the city. Tarnaka is a good central spot for us to move around and reach different neighborhoods. Usually, our days involve a lot of heavy lifting, moving crates, and making sure the lights and decorations are exactly where they should be for the event. It’s not a glamorous job like people think when they hear about event planning. There is a lot of sweat and running around involved before any party or gathering actually starts. We started doing this because we liked the energy of local celebrations and wanted to be a part of making them happen for people. Sometimes things go wrong, like a fuse blowing or a delivery being late because of the traffic, and we just have to figure it out on the fly. We are just regular people who know how to set up a stage and arrange some chairs. Most of our equipment is stored in a simple space here in the neighborhood. We don’t use big words or fancy presentations to get work. Usually, someone sees what we did at a neighbor's wedding and gives us a call. It’s a very practical business built on showing up and doing the physical labor required for an event. We stay busy enough without needing to be loud about it or spending money on advertisements.
