Desi Meats Private Limited

Being on the second floor of the Sri Sai Complex right at Mayuri Junction is an interesting spot for a meat business. You would think we would want to be on the street level, but we make it work up here at 1 23. The stairs are a workout, that is for sure, especially when we are moving crates around. Most of our day at Desi Meats Private Limited is spent handling orders and talking to suppliers. It is a busy junction, so there is always something happening outside the window. We are not doing anything fancy here. It is just about getting the meat processed and out the door to wherever it needs to go. The floor is usually being scrubbed because you have to keep a place like this clean. We have got a small crew and we all know each other's business by now. It is not the kind of job where you wear a suit. We wear aprons and get our hands dirty every single day. Some days the humidity makes everything feel heavy, but we just keep the fans going and get on with it. We have been at this location for a bit, and people in the area know where to find us if they need something specific. It is a straightforward way to earn a paycheck, and we are okay with that. The noise from the junction never really stops, but after a while, you just stop hearing it while you work.
