Delhi School Of Excellence

Our place is the Delhi School Of Excellence and we are located right in Attapur, Hyderabad, at Door No 3-5-29/10/1. If you have ever driven through Attapur, you know how the traffic can get. The school is tucked away a bit, but you can still hear the city noise. We start the day with the usual chaos of buses arriving and parents dropping off their kids in cars. It is a tight squeeze in the mornings. The building is a multi-story setup, so there is a lot of going up and down the stairs. The hallways are decorated with charts and drawings the kids made, though some of them are peeling off at the corners. The staff room is always a hub of activity with teachers sharing snacks and complaining about the heat. We have a small playground, but it gets the job done. Recess is the loudest part of the day. You can hear the shouting from the street. We have got a lot of kids from the nearby colonies, so many of them walk home in groups. The office handles all the regular stuff like fee payments and uniform issues. It is an honest living for us. We are not doing anything world-changing, just making sure the kids have their books and the teachers have their chalk. Every day is pretty much the same, just a lot of work and a bit of noise in 500048.
