Delhi Public School

Our school is situated in Mansaar Colony over in Kaidrabad. We are right near the Women Industrial Training Institute, which is a big landmark for anyone trying to find us. The area is quite settled and has a lot of houses around it. The school itself is a large building with a big gate at the front. It’s not as old as some other schools, but it’s been here long enough to feel like part of the furniture. In the mornings, the road in Mansaar Colony gets quite full with buses and parents on scooters. We have a playground area that gets a lot of use, though the grass doesn't always stay green in the heat. The hallways are wide and can get a bit echoing when the kids are moving between classes. We don't go in for a lot of fancy talk about what we do. It’s just a school. We have desks, chairs, and teachers who have been doing this for years. Some of the rooms could probably use a bit more light, but we do our best with what we have. It’s a busy place with a lot of noise and movement. We just try to keep things organized so that everyone knows where they need to be. It’s a practical, everyday sort of place for the kids in Kaidrabad to spend their time and do their lessons. There is always something that needs fixing, but we keep on.
