Defence Electronics Research Lab

Our lab is based in Hyderabad, right in the Narayanguda area. We are located in a building called The Legend at 3-4-467/1. If you go up to Flat 201 on YMCA Road, that is where you will find us. The name on the door says Defence Electronics Research Lab. It sounds a bit technical, and it is, but we are just regular people working on some electronics projects. The flat is a bit of a mix between an office and a workshop. We have benches with tools and some computers spread around. It isn't a sterile corporate lab like you see in movies. It’s a bit messy sometimes with wires and components, but we know where everything is. Narayanguda is a very central place to be, so it is easy to get parts or meet people if we need to. We spend a lot of time looking at small details and trying to figure out why things aren't working the way they should. It takes a lot of patience. We don't have a big marketing department or anyone to write fancy reports. We just do the research and see what happens. Being in a residential-style building makes the long hours feel a bit more comfortable. It is a quiet enough place to think without too many interruptions. We just keep our heads down and focus on the gadgets and circuits. It is a decent way to spend the day.
