City Hotel

City Hotel is located at 5-8-322/10 in Shalimar Garden. We are tucked into Medwin Lane in the Nampally area. This is a very old and crowded part of Hyderabad. Our hotel is a small building and we have been here for many years. The rooms are very basic because we mainly cater to people who are looking for a cheap place to stay. Most of our guests are people who have work at the nearby hospitals or are traveling through the Nampally railway station. It is not a luxury place by any means. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint and the elevators are a bit slow. We spend most of our time at the front desk or making sure the rooms are ready for the next guest. The street outside is always full of people and noise, so it is never really quiet here. We don't have a kitchen that serves big meals, but there are many stalls outside where you can find food. The staff is small and we mostly just look after the keys and the cleaning. It is a busy life running a hotel in this part of the city. We see a lot of different people coming through every day. It is just a simple place for someone who needs to put their bags down and sleep. It stays loud until late at night in this area because of all the activity.
