People in the Ramnagar neighborhood probably know our building already, right there at 1-9-202/E/1/C/1. It’s been our home in Hyderabad for quite a while now. Most of our days start pretty early when the shutters go up and we start moving things around to get the floor ready for whoever might walk in. It is not a fancy setup by any means, just a solid, practical place where we keep our stock and talk to the regulars who have been coming to us for years. Sometimes the traffic outside on the main road gets a bit loud, especially in the heat of the afternoon, but that is just the way this part of the city is. We have piles of items and various goods tucked into almost every corner, and the staff knows exactly where everything is even if it looks a bit crowded to a stranger. We do not spend much time on fancy decorations or expensive lighting. Instead, we just focus on the items we have on the shelves and making sure people find what they need without a lot of unnecessary fuss. It gets real hot in the summer, so the ceiling fans are always humming away, and there is usually a bit of tea being shared in the back room. Working here feels like being a real part of the community. We see the same faces every week, people stopping by on their way home from work. It is just an honest way to run a things.
