Nissi Cottage Industry

Nissi Cottage Industry is tucked away at Plot No 816 in B N Reddy Nagar. Being out here in Cherlapally means we are away from the main city rush, which suits us just fine. We call ourselves a cottage industry because that’s exactly what it feels like. It’s a small-scale operation, run with a lot of hands-on effort. We don’t have automated assembly lines or high-tech robots. Instead, it’s just people sitting together and putting things together by hand. We started this because we wanted to do something local and provide a bit of work for the folks nearby. The space is often filled with materials waiting to be processed, and sometimes it gets a bit cramped when a big batch of stuff comes in. We don't have a fancy website or a sales department. If someone wants to talk to us, they usually just show up at the gate. It's a quiet kind of work compared to the big factories down the road. Sometimes we have tea together in the afternoon and talk about what’s going on in the neighborhood. We take pride in the fact that we handle everything ourselves, from unloading the raw materials to packing the finished items into boxes. It’s a simple life and a simple business, and we wouldn't have it any other way. We don't worry about being the fastest, just about getting the boxes taped up and ready for whoever is picking them up.
