You can find Chandrabhan Fashion Jewellers at House No 21-6-451 on Ghansi Bazar Main Road. We are right in the heart of the Ghansi Bazar-charminar area. The history of the city is all around us, but honestly, we are usually too busy to think about it. The shop is small and we have these glass cases where we keep the jewelry. The glass gets fingerprints all over it throughout the day, so we have to keep a soft cloth nearby to wipe them off every few minutes. It is a family business and we’ve lived and worked in this area for a long time. We know almost everyone else on this road. We eat our lunch in the tiny back room where we keep the extra stock. The gold and the stones look very bright under the small lamps we have pointed at the counters. We don't have a big marketing plan or anything like that. We just stay open until late at night because the Charminar area stays awake long after the sun goes down. The street noise is part of our lives now. Sometimes the dust from the road makes us sneeze, but you get used to it. We just keep the shop clean and wait for the regulars to stop by for a chat or to see what’s new.
