About Centuary India - Mattress – Tourism in Hyderabad
Our space is up on the first floor of Ideal Towers. It’s one of those buildings where you have to take the stairs or the lift, and sometimes the lift is a bit moody. Once you get inside, it’s mostly just mattresses lined up. We have them leaning against the walls or laid out on the floor frames so people can actually see what they are looking at. The windows look out over the street, and you can hear the horns honking throughout the afternoon. It gets pretty bright in here during the summer months, so we keep the blinds halfway down. There is a small desk where we handle the paperwork and take calls from the warehouse. It isn’t a huge office, but it fits what we need. We spend a lot of time talking to folks about how thick a mattress should be or why one feels different from the other. It’s mostly practical talk. No one here wears a suit; we are usually just in casual clothes because moving these things around is heavy work. You get used to the smell of new foam and plastic wrapping after a while. Most of the day is spent checking the stock or waiting for the next delivery to arrive at the loading bay downstairs. We just try to keep things moving and make sure the place stays somewhat tidy despite all the bulky items sitting around everywhere.
