Calyx Biotech Ltd.

You can find us over at No. 5-36/207 Prasanth Nagar Kukatpally. We have been here for a good while now, working on biotech stuff as Calyx Biotech. It’s a bit of a mix between an office and a lab space. We have some equipment that takes up a lot of room, so things can feel a bit crowded when everyone is in. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we are usually too busy with the actual work to worry about that. Kukatpally is a fast-growing area, so we’ve seen a lot of changes around our building over the years. Inside, it’s mostly quiet because people are concentrating on their tests and data. We have a small area near the back where we keep our coats and bags. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit, but we have a backup to keep the important machines running. We don't really do much in the way of advertising. Most people hear about us through word of mouth or because they are in the same industry. It’s a lot of technical work, but we are just regular people trying to get the results right. The lunch hour is usually when the place livens up a bit with everyone talking. We just keep our heads down and focus on the science we are doing here in Hyderabad, trying to make progress every single day.
