Our office is in the M.C.P. Arcade on Raj Bhavan Road in Somajiguda. We are on the 4th floor, which gives us a bit of a view of the Hyderabad traffic down below. The building is one of those older commercial blocks that has a lot of character and plenty of other businesses as neighbors. It is 6-3-887 if you are looking for the exact door, though most people just look for the arcade. The lift is a bit slow, so some of us just take the stairs to get our steps in for the day. Inside, the office is filled with the sound of clicking mice and the occasional hum of a printer. We aren't the type of company that has a fancy reception desk with a bowl of mints. Instead, you’ll probably see someone carrying a stack of papers or a laptop. We have a small area where we keep the kettle and some biscuits for the afternoon slump. The team is a mix of young graduates and older hands who have seen it all. We don’t use a lot of big words to describe what we do. We just work on engineering software and try to help our customers figure out their technical problems. It is a busy office, but we always find time to complain about the heat or talk about the latest cricket match over lunch. It is a simple place where work gets done without any extra polish.
