Bushra Ladies Garments

Bushra Ladies Garments is tucked away on Haribowli road in the Shah Ali Banda area. It’s a part of Hyderabad that has a lot of history and very narrow streets. Our shop is mostly focused on things for women, so we have a lot of colorful fabrics and ready-made suits piled up on the counters. It’s not a very big place, so when we get new stock in, it can look a bit overwhelming until we get it all put away on the shelves. We have a lot of regular ladies from the neighborhood who stop by just to see what’s new or to chat for a bit while they look at the patterns. The lighting inside is a little warm, which makes the colors of the clothes look nice. We don't have a fancy dressing room, just a small corner with a curtain. It serves the purpose. Sometimes the street outside gets blocked by a cart or a car, and it gets very noisy with all the shouting and honking. We just keep working through it. We’ve been here for a while and have seen the neighborhood change, but the shop stays pretty much the same. We don’t bother with marketing or anything like that. Word of mouth is how most people find us. It’s a simple, honest way to make a living, and we enjoy seeing the familiar faces every week. It feels good to be a part of this community.
